# Setup Instructions

1. Create a Stepform account or log in to your existing Stepform account.
2. Open your Stepform dashboard and select the workspace where you want to use Slack.
3. Go to the Integrations tab in the dashboard sidebar.
4. Open the Slack integration from the integrations list.
5. Click Connect workspace to start the Slack OAuth installation flow.
6. Review the requested Slack permissions and approve the connection for your Slack workspace.
7. Return to Stepform, open the Stepform where you want to use Slack, and go to the Automations step.
8. Add a Slack automation action, choose the connected Slack workspace, select a channel or user, write your message, and save the automation.
